# 474 - Your Microwave Oven Is Killing You

Guest: William Thomas

MUST HEAR EPISODE: 90% of households have a microwave oven. There's enough research to prove that both the food heated in, and casual exposure to the escaping radiation of your microwave oven is killing you slowly. This is a international emergency. Please pass this show around to friends and family.

If you trust science and peer review over conspiracy theory and alternative health alarmism, then read this: http://www.burnthefatblog.com/archives/2011/07/what-science-really-says-about-microwave-ovens.php

William Thomas is a conspiracy theorist. He has a book called Days of Deception. It is about the government planning 911. Another of his books Chemtrails says that when planes fly over they are actually releasing chemical weapons on Americas. A conspiracy consisting of Airline pilots, U.S. Marines, Air Traffic Controllers, and Congressman.

Carl,

Did you do the study with microwaved water for watering plants?

I was surprised about the information Carls friend gave out about Swedish aspect of radiation. Because you see, I am from Sweden, and he was right about Sweden doing a big research about radiation. But the end result of this big investigation ended in the facts that the radiation from cellphones, cellphone antennas and wireless networks are not dangerous for your health. And thats the final verdict from radiation protections gouverment international science council, from the big investigation that occured.
Here's a link to a swedish site who stated this 15th feb 2010. you maybe could translate it with google or something - http://www.testfakta.se/teknik/article14366.ece

Microwaves are actually good, they help prepare "life giving" food

Related to microwave radiation, GQ just published an article on cellphone radiation. heard about it on This American Life.

Figured I would throw this on the pile. I went this past weekend to our local target and ended up getting a $29.00 toaster oven. It was half the price of a convection oven without the fan. I am surprised how well it works. Instead of my lunch being in the microwave for under a minute to warm up it’s in the oven for about 10-15 and I can put the chances for microwave cooking to harm my body behind me. Thanks Carl…

Thanks for the info Carl. I'm trying to go without my microwave this week. 2 days down (from all of Sunday). I'll be unplugging it once I've stuck it out for 7 days.

This is really frustrating to hear, but your only the messanger and we were all duped into thinking they were fine for us to use.

Please keep the life changing stuff coming.

What about plain water, or coffee re-heat?

As William stated water changes into toxic waste when heated in a microwave. The in-home test he suggested was to heat water in your microwave, allow it to cool to room temperature, then use it water a plant that you don't mind loosing. Over a few days of water the plant with previously-microwaved water... the plant will begin to wilt... and eventually die.

i would be really curious to hear if this one works.

I'll be buying two plants today and posting a daily update in my blog. I'd like to see if this is true myself.

awesome!! this could be huge. make sure you document it properly.

molecular structure of water changed in a µ-oven ...right.

µ-waves are just that length coz of the special structure of a water molecule which is why it makes them vibrate and and vibrating molecules, that is heat

everything else is pretty much like saying UFOs exist
Nazi's had those too ye know

Ok the microwave is unplugged and as soon as someone tall enough is here to get it off the shelf it will be gone! I going back home next week and I'm going with a mission for all of my family and friends to get rid of their microwaves. Especially my son who uses it to cook my granddaughters food.

You are already following the advice of mainstream messages by buying teh foods you buy and doing things you do - like using your microwave - that have been promoted by companies and approved by government that doesn't give a damn about the impact upon your health. I feel your frustration. You don't have to buy a convection oven. You can choose to not re-heat some foods at all.

The frustration begins in that fact that we have adopted habits that have been made available and condoned that are simply not healthy. The truth coming out now is not the problem. Its just a correction. The companies and government that have lied to us is where we should direct our frustration frankly.

This kind of information is frustrating to hear. I listen to several podcasts that deal with health and if I were to follow closely to all the things that are instructed not to do I would be forced to dig a hole in the ground, jump in and starve to death. Don’t consume this food or that water; stop eating just about everything that is sold in a grocery store, the list is impossible to stay up to date on. Now I am supposed to spend money I don’t have on a convection oven to set under my desk at work and hope my boss doesn’t see it. I always appreciate the info and love the show; however, if someone were to compile all the do’s and don’ts of society today we would be left to stand in a corner with tinfoil on our heads hiding from life.
